Looking for a healthy dessert or snack for the little ones? Or even just for yourself! This great-for-the gut no sugar mango jelly is a great treat for the whole family. Very easy to make too!
1 cup mangoes (frozen or fresh)
1 cup organic milk (or cream)
Rice malt syrup (honey or sugar)
I Quit Sugar (IQS) gelatine
Slice the mangoes into small pieces. Alternatively, you can place the mango and the milk in a blender and mix them. If you use the first method, it just means you have bits of fruits when the jelly sets.
Mix 3 1/2 tbsp of the gelatine with 1/3 cup cold water and let it set until it’s a woobly goop.
Place the mango/milk mixture on stove top and add rice malt syrup (sugar or honey). You decide how much you want to add to the mixture. Stir until cooked then add the gelatine. Keep mixing until all the gelatine is dissolved.
Place in a container and let it set in the fridge. Cut into cute little pieces.
