If there’s one thing everyone in our family eats, its Spaghetti Bolognese. Its a go-to recipe for many families, and its super easy to make your own bolognese sauce rather than buy one at the supermarket.
I use this easy Spaghetti Bolognese recipe all the time. It’s my daughter’s favourite and has hidden veggies… Always a win!
Easy Spaghetti Bolognese
- 500g mince meat
- 3 cloves chopped garlic
- 1 chopped onion
- 3 tbps soy sauce
- 2 tbps oyster sauce
- 2 tbsps worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsps sugar
- 1 tin of organic diced tomatoes
- 1 grated carrot
- Pasta herbs (Rosemary, Thyme, Parsley etc)
Boil up the pasta according to instructions. While waiting for the pasta to cook, fry up the garlic and onion till nice and brown.
Add the meat and fry up until it’s cooked. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, worcestershire sauce and sugar. Mix it all up. Lastly, add the grated carrot and the canned diced tomatoes.
Clean up the tomato tin with some water and add to the sauce. Sprinkle with herbs of your choice. Let it simmer for 10-12 minutes.
When the pasta is cooked, place in bowls and top with the sauce. Sprinkle with some parmesan cheese and serve.
