Most girl’s love a cheeky cocktail, but nothing is worse than googling a recipe and wasting your time and money on creating alcoholic drain water… I mean unless you’re into that! In case you prefer the finer things in life, our Magic Men team have brainstormed their favourite concoctions for your next event… or even better, just have our Magic Men Topless Waiters make them for you!

Check out the 5 most perfect hens party cocktails you can use for your next home bachelorette party (spoiler alert: there’s no sex on the beach here).

Your hens night is going to be absolutely perfect. You’ve picked the perfect theme, selected the perfect time, venue, food and ‘hens’. What could possibly go wrong? I’ll tell you what: the hens night cocktails.

Hen party cocktails might not sound as important as the venue, the hens party games, and the guest-list, but cocktail recipes are not all created equal. In actual fact, some are just downright gross.

So we’ve put our heads together and come up with the best cocktail recipes that will ensure your forthcoming hens party is absolutely perfect in every single way.

Every hen loves a delicious and beautiful girly beverage, so here are our 6 absolute favourite hens night cocktails that never disappoint:

Love a sweet, tart cocktail with a delicious twist of almond? Oh yes, you certainly will.

You’ll need Amaretto, lemon juice, simple syrup, egg-white and Angostura bitters. A shake with ice and a garnish with lemon zest will leave you licking your lips with delight.

(Sing!!) “If you like Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain”, then you are going to love this traditional recipe! Originating from Puerto Rico in 1954, with a name literally meaning strained pineapple, this sweet cocktail is both easy and cheap to make.

It’s even better if you’re having a Mexican themed party and need cocktails to suit the vibe.

On a side note the mixture expands very quickly when blended so ensure you obey the maximum lines on your appliance….our Magic Men didn’t when testing these out, OOPS!

An apple a day keeps the doctor away, so combine it with a Martini and you’re in apple heaven.

You’ll need vodka, apple schnapps and triple sec. Use a mixer to shake it all up and make sure your glass is chilled when you garnish it with a slice of apple.

– 1 cup Pineapple Juice

– ¼ cup Malibu Coconut Rum

– ¼ cup Coconut Cream

– Glass filled with Ice

1. Add all the ingredients into a blender until mixed

If you’re feeling fancy you can add some glass garnish with either cherries or pineapple, but if you’re like us, we find it totally acceptable to put a straw straight into the blender jug! I mean, you have to taste test right?

Let’s just say this took some tweaking to get right but our Magic Men were more than happy to help! There are so many bad recipes floating around on the internet and with the cream Vs. alcohol mix in this cocktail, you can only imagine what happens when you get it wrong…ew. When you get it right though, you can’t go past the taste sensation this drink provides, so it’s a delightful addition to any girl’s night, birthday or hens party celebration!

– 1 cup Pineapple Juice

– Shot of Malibu Rum

– Shot of Midori

– Chilled Coconut Cream to top

– Ice

1. Place Ice in a tall glass

2. Pour in the Malibu and Midori

3. Pour in Pineapple Juice

4. Float Coconut Cream on top

Add a straw and you’re good to go! Ensure you have plenty of the ingredients above as I guarantee you will go back for more.

If you’re a coffee lover AND an alcohol lover (who isn’t), well well well do we have the perfect blend for you. Currently, this martini has the world wrapped around its little beans; with its caffeine hit and smooth finish, you’ll be hooked in one sip.

Unfortunately, this one can be hard to make without a proper coffee machine and we wouldn’t risk it with instant, YUCK!

– Shot of Vodka

– Shot of Kahlua

– Shot of Coffee

– 15ml or ½ shot of sugar syrup

** 1 part sugar, 2 parts water

– Ice

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice

2. Pour hot coffee shot over ice

** If coffee is left to cool over time it will go bitter (yuck!)

3. Pour the rest of the ingredients over ice

4. Shake what you’re momma gave you!

5. Strain mix into a glass

Again you can add some coffee beans glass garnish with if you’re feeling sophisticated! Don’t forget to strain the mixture or else you’ll be stuck with too much crema (foam).

No party would be complete without the classic Mojito and although this one has a few more ingredients, it’s absolutely worth it on warmer days. Some of us aren’t really fans of herbs and leafy flavours like coriander and mint, BUT anyone can make an exception with this drink because who doesn’t feel fancy saying “Who wants a homemade Mojito!”

Ooh la la! Everybody just loves ordering one of these fruity babies in a cocktail bar, but they’re just as fun and yummy as they sound.

You’ll need vodka, peach schnapps, and orange and cranberry juice. Mix it all up with ice and serve garnished with a slice of ripe orange in a highball glass.

– ½ Lime (Juiced)

– 2 tsp Brown (raw) Caster sugar

– Fresh Mint Leaves

** Usually 8 – 10

– Shot of Bacardi White Rum

– Soda Water

** Enough to fill the glass

– Crushed Ice

1. Place lime juice and sugar in a glass until sugar dissolves

2. Clap mint leaves between your hands and place half in a glass

** This will release oils without damaging leaves…how very Masterchef of us!

3. Fill crushed ice half way

4. Add white rum and stir

5. Add the rest of the mint leaves

6. Fill glass ¾ with more crushed ice

7. Top with soda water and stir

Of course, you can add as much or as little ice as you like but doing it in the above order will add a visual aspect to your drink, rather than having the leaves in just one clump! Don’t stress about how many steps there are, just get our Topless Waiters to do it for you.

The one and only drink from the TV show all girls love, Sex and the City! Despite the drink actually being around since the 1970’s, we would like to thank Carrie Bradshaw for introducing the world to this infamous cranberry goodness.

This is definitely another one of those cocktails that is hard to sip slowly and what makes it worse, most bars have them in the tiniest glasses….so why not make it in bulk for our own event?

– Shot of Vodka

– 2 shots of Cointreau

– 1 cup Cranberry Juice

– 1 teaspoon of Lime Juice

1. Fill a shaker with ice

2. Add all the ingredients over ice

3. User shaker & strain into a chilled cocktail glass

4. Garnish with a slice of lime, orange slice or flame an orange zest

Have a few of these pink delights and you’ll be ready to hit the town! If you’re entertaining friends, this is one of those cocktails that is often accompanied with a flame of orange zest and for those who have to google what that means like we did, it’s really just a sliver of skin, not too much that you end up drinking a glass of orange juice.

Of course, each cocktail can be changed to suit your taste buds needs. Whether you only want a splash of the strong stuff, decide to whip in some egg white or would just prefer to drink straight, we hope these recipes impress your guests! And if you did come for a sex on the beach, fingers crossed you have better luck on your hen night 😉
